An e-commerce platform for local grocery stores that facilitates online ordering and delivery of grocery items to customers within specified geographical range.
The LocalExpress platform has features both for shoppers and partner stores. For store operators, the system supports bulk product uploads and inventory management, provides easy access to a customizable online “storefront”, offers options for sales and discounts. For shoppers, the platform offers convenient online shopping features including account creation, product favourites and lists, saved addresses and payment methods, fast checkout.

What we did
A full-cycle system support, starting with design, frontend and backend, and continuing with a full-scope administration needs analysis, server research, new version deployment and ongoing system monitoring. We also provide Tier 2 technical support and prepare regular system reports for the client.

Fully Responsive
Mobile optimization is key to producing a seamless online shopping experience for customers who spend most of their time utilizing mobile devices, rather than desktop computers, for their online activities. The mobile use of the Local Express platform had to be quick, easy and enjoyable while maintaining its clean user-friendly vibe. We incorporated engaging animations from the desktop version while simplifying the overall experience to improve load times.
