Where do we start?
Before starting any work on the existing website, we perform a website audit to determine the code, server and performance state. We will provide you with a list of recommendations and possible improvements. We will check if there is anything that requires immediate attention and address those issues first with you. After that, we follow our standard process.
What does the process look like?
After the audit is performed, we set up the development version of your website and start the maintenance process - updating the plugins, core etc. First, we backup the current website version. Set up git. Test everything on dev env. Send you the link for approval and then deploy the updated version.
I need website performance improvements. Is this included?
During website audit, we will also address the website's performance issues, if there are any. We will outline the issues that can be solved during regular maintenance work and which will require extra development hours.
I need some regular content updates. Is it something you help with?
Yes. Content updates are included - we can update existing pages for you. Including images, copy, hiding/enabling sections, etc. Basically small content tweaks.
I have a lot of custom code on the website. Can you help with it?
Normally yes. Depending on the quality of code and the language, we will most likely be able to help you. During the website audit we will review the current code and will let you know immediately if there are some things that can’t be supported by our team.
I don’t think I need regular support, but I need a few minor updates now and then. Do I still need to pay for support monthly?
Not at all! It is the case for many small websites and we can totally work with you on demand. In this case, we will always provide you with an estimated cost beforehand and let you know when the work can be done.
